SteelSeries South East Asia (SEA) and Malaysia Cups announced

DotaTalk and Steelseries are also proud to present a SteelSeries South East Asia (SEA) Cup. Teams in the SEA region will be able to compete against each other to gain experience in competitive play. Again, this will be a monthly affair.

This is set to be exciting as there is only 1 grand prize of 250USD and 5 DotA 2 Steelseries Kana bundles. The matches will be single elimination, and best of all, there is no limit to the number of teams that can play in this tournament.

Teams will compete in a Bo1 match on the 28th of July. 29th July will see the semi finals and grand finals being played out. These matches are scheduled for 2pm till late, Singapore time. The semis and grand finals will start at 8pm, 29th July 2013, Singapore time.

SteelSeries Malaysia Cup Season 1

 

Teams in Malaysia will now be able to look forward to an online monthly tournament organized by DotaTalk and sponsored by Steelseries Malaysia. This will provide an opportunity for teams who are keen to join the competitive scene and looking for more exposure as well.

The champions of this monthly SteelSeries Malaysia Cup will walk away with 5x Special Edition Black and Gold Steelseries Siberia V2 Headsets. The 1st runner-up will win 5x Steelseries Kana DotA 2 bundles, and the 2nd runner-up will win exclusive DotA 2 QCK+ mousepads. Prizes are proudly sponsored by Steelseries.

This will be double elimination; teams will compete from 30th July 2013 till 2nd August 2013, 8pm till 12am SGT. Singapore servers will be used; the number of teams will be capped at 64.
