Step 1: Activate the Console
You will need to activate the console in order to enter the commands required to activate the net graph in DotA 2. In order to do so, please follow the given steps.
- Go to your Games Library on Steam and right click on “DotA 2″ and open Properties.
- Once your Properties tab is up and running, click on “Set Launch Options”.
- After the Set Launch Options tab opens up, type in the following and press OK: -console
- Doing so will allow you to access the console inside the game by pressing ~ (the tilde key)
Step 2: Using the Net Graph Command
Once you have your game running, press ~ to activate your console. After the console shows up, type in the following command to activate your Net Graph that will allow you to view information such as ping, FPS details, and more:
Some of you might find it so that your Net Graph is covering a greater part of your screen. You can adjust the display settings of the graph using the following tweaks to suit your needs.
Net Graph Tweak Commands
Adjusts the height of the Net Graph display.
Defines the position of your Net Graph in relation to the bottom of your screen.
Defines the position of your Net Graph in relation to the left hand side of your screen.
Defines the position of your Net Graph in relation to the right hand side of your screen.
Defines the position of your Net Graph in relation to the top of your screen.
Toggles the position of your Net Graph (either 0 or 1)
Toggles the text of the Net Graph (either 0 or 1)
Toggles the latency of the Net Graph (either 0 or 1)
The latency graph represents this many milliseconds
Draws the interpolation graph
