Keep your calendar clear, as this coming weekend the ninth edition of the Gosucup Asia is set begin. A total of 256 teams will be allowed to participate in this tournament, with a substantial prize pool of about $1,000
Format for the tournament will be played through single elimination until there are a total of 4 teams left in the roster. On the 2nd day, the remaining 4 teams will battle it out in a double elimination format and then finally a winner will be named. The winners of the GosuCup will receive $500, 2nd place $300 and 3rd will get $200. There are no country restrictions at the current time, but the tournament will mostly cater to Sea Servers, unless both teams come to an understanding.
