It was not the past two champions in Pacific.Revitalize (January 2013) or iZONE.GIGABYTE (March 2013) winning the title though. In fact, those teams didn’t even made the finals. Instead, it was the hot Filipino team in Olympians.

Fresh from a Championship title on a local DotA tournament last weekend, Olympians rode on the momentum and proceeded to win the eight-team, double-elimination tournament without dropping a single game.

Their win this month is definitely undisputed, as they went of to defeat the first, second and third runner up on the competition. Among those wins is the all-important one from eventual runner-up Ideal.Gigabyte, who they faced on the Grand Finals while holding a twice-to-beat advantage.

They need not use the winner’s bracket advantage, as they dominated the final game of the tournament. With a double Lothar’s Edge utilizing line-up in Gyrocopter and Drow Ranger, they completely dominated team fights and was able to take the GG in just 24 minutes of game time. The full brackets can be found here.

  • ph Olympians – $700
  • th iDeal.GIGABYTE – $500
  • ph iZONE.GIGABYTE – $300
