DotaTalk UK Cup

DotaTalk will be hosting its first ever TUP amateur LAN tournament in the UK, dubbed the UK Amateur Cup. Playing at GamersBase, Picadilly Circus in London on the 19th of January 2013, prizes will include :

The UK Cup will follow the format of round robin, single elimination, with group stages of 5 teams per group, where the top 2 teams of each group (4 in total) will advance to stage 2 of the tournament, where both teams with the highest points (dubbed Group A)will play a best-of-3 round while the runner-ups of the group stages (dubbed Group B) will play a best-of-1. The winner of Group B will then play with the loser of Group A to determine a winner (dubbed C) to compete for the grand prize with the winner of Group A.

This event will be covered by DotaTalk and casted by Luminous and durkadurka. Scheduled to start at 10.30am, teams will be allowed to use the PCs from as early as 9:00am-11:45pm, even if they are knocked out. Lunch is covered by the registration fee and will be provided (for participants only). There are only 10 slots available, so do register as soon as possible. A registration fee of £100 is required for each team of 5.
